PLASTICOLOR is probably the oldest company operating in the field of inputs for the plastics industry in Tunisia and the Maghreb.
PLASTICOLOR began its activities in the early 1980s by importing and distributing masterbatchs (color mixtures) for the first plastic and cable manufacturers in Tunisia.
PLASTICOLOR has since continued to evolve in this input and masterbatch sector by strengthening its relationship with its long-standing partner POLYONE, now AVIENT after the acquisition of the masterbatches branch of CLARIANT.
This decades-long partnership with world number one AVIENT is one of the oldest and most stable partnerships in the region.
This continuity and perseverance allowed PLASTICOLOR to acquire a great know-how in this field, to become the leader on the Tunisian market and also to go to the other Maghreb markets: Morocco, Algeria and recently Libya. .
In addition to this partnership with AVIENT, the PLASTICOLOR Group has entered into relations with other partners, thus ensuring a wide commercial and economic offer to its customers in all these countries.
To cover these markets, the PLASTICOLOR Group is currently made up of 5 companies:
- The mother company PLASTICOLOR based in Tunisia and oriented towards the local Tunisian industrial market.
- The company VISION M also based in Tunisia but operating exclusively with fully exporting companies.
- The PLASTICARE company based in Morocco since 2011 in the Tangier free zone and distributing to Moroccan companies established in the free zones.
- The PLASTICARE MAROC company, based in Morocco in Casablanca since 2012 and distributing to local Moroccan manufacturers.
- The PLASTICARE ALGERIE company has been active in Algeria since 2013.
Finally, PLASTICOLOR Groupe is currently working to create a commercial presence in Tripoli in Libya while waiting to create a company in this country as soon as political and legal conditions allow it.
These various companies and these various presences are directed and managed by a team of 25 executives and collaborators including 7 outside Tunisia.
In addition to the sales teams present in each country, the PLASTICOLOR Group has set up since 2012 a Technical Department specializing in the distribution of equipment and machines for the plastics industry.
Our range of solutions and products is one of the broadest.
We offer our clients our research services to identify the solutions that are right for them, to develop these solutions with our various partners and to import and make these solutions available to them.
Our offer therefore includes several families of products, mainly masterbatchs (dyes, additives, etc.), technical and special mixtures, consumables and additives, etc.
Our offer also covers a large part of our customers’ needs in peripheral equipment and machines (injection, extrusion, blow molding, thermoforming, etc.).
